@matthijsewoud @googlechrome @webkit Now that I tried it a couple of times, I am observing this randomly as well. It looks like the user-agent stylesheet's default light background (trac.webkit.org/browser/trunk/Source/WebCore/css/html.css, de facto transparent). Maybe a bug indeed.
