@CassidyJames @SimonXCIV It doesn't have to be hard-coded, you can make it user-tweakable: web.dev/prefers-color-scheme/#customizing-dark-mode-re-colorization-intensities-with-javascript. Of course graying out is just one of many possible ways, I did some user research in that area: medium.com/dev-channel/re-colorization-for-dark-mode-19e2e17b584b (graying out and not doing anything performed roughly equally well).
