Respect the initial prefers-color-scheme preference, but allow for a manual override (web.dev/prefers-color-scheme/#dark-mode-but-add-an-opt-out). Exactly the philosophy behind <dark-mode-toggle> (github.com/GoogleChromeLabs/dark-mode-toggle) as well!
