The Wikimedia foundation has made a @Wikipedia app for @KaiOStech available and open-sourced it (github.com/wikimedia/wikipedia-kaios), including the market research (upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/3/3c/Understanding_KaiOS_users_in_India_-_Report.pdf [PDF]) that led to the decision to do so.
