I just tried it on my sample app play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=io.github.tomayac.chrome_dino_gamepad (the words “dark” and “light” should be <strong>, but aren’t). The bold you were seeing might be 𝗔𝗕𝗖 from the mathematical sans-serif bold Unicode section.
