@ade_oshineye @doriantaylor XPointer is mightier, see, for example, the string-range() function: w3.org/TR/WD-xptr#stringrange. Additionally, Text Fragments is bound to word boundaries, whereas XPointer has letter-level accuracy. It came up, though: github.com/WICG/scroll-to-text-fragment/issues/18.
