You shouldn’t build in-app “browsers” (IA“B”; infrequently.org/2021/07/hobsons-browser/ by @slightlylate or blog.tomayac.com/2019/12/09/inspecting-facebooks-webview/ by yours truly), but @Yelp’s IA“B” is next-level horrible: it makes sites that perfectly redirect traffic to HTTPS look bad by always showing HTTP in its URL bar. 🤦 x.com/johnwilander/status/1419844595060379654
