@dfabu Must people are really excited about it because with Access Handles (web.dev/file-system-access/#accessing-files-optimized-for-performance-from-the-origin-private-file-system) it allows them to use the OPFS as a very performant backend for storage solutions like SQLite or DuckDB, which given Web SQLs EoL developer.chrome.com/blog/deprecating-web-sql/ is even more interesting lately.
