    @wesbos You may be interested in WebCodecs, which makes this kind of job a little easier: developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/WebCodecs_API (from there, follow your way through to video decoding). Supported by Chrome and Safari Technology Preview (partly).
