We’ve a Mid 2007 iMac 🖥 support.apple.com/kb/SP16?locale=en_US in our living room for streaming, Web, DVDs, DVB-C,… that is showing its age & is stuck on macOS 10.11.6. All hardware worked out of the box, even the iMac keyboard’s multimedia keys and the Hauppauge USB TV stick (just had to copy the firmware file to the right folder. Easy-ish: the dual boot setup. Not really happy with Gnome Software (docs.xubuntu.org/1804/user/C/managing-applications.html#gnome-software) as a package manager.Permalink On twitter.com
