I wonder if @shadeed9 would be up for an Arabic and @DanShappir for a Hebrew translation, or if you had someone on your mind who could be interested in helping out? It’d be my first RTL app, so I’m expecting some work for me once the translations exis
@dan_jenkins Haha, thanks for the PR. It’s maybe a little easier for learners, since at some point most of us need to “choose sidesâ€, whereas the majority of native speakers just use whatever they grew up with and roll with it.
@daviddalbusco It’s mostly slower: the first byte arrives after >1s (across all three runs): https://t.co/bHa5MtPEPl. Thanks for explaining and writing, I’ll keep reading. (I mean replication as in https://t.co/vydX1QbuRi.)
@jensimmons Compare the speed of SVGcode (https://t.co/KkNtcT0e1q) in Chrome vs. Safari. Still investigating, but I think `OffscreenCanvas` (https://t.co/FfzQxaeP15, https://t.co/xy2J9r329F, https://t.co/264JHGbr0s) would help. Also the new Canvas 2D API

@daviddalbusco I tried really hard, but I still don’t see how this is fundamentally different from a replicated database. What value does the blockchain add? Versioning? Can you point me at a slide deck hosted on it? Looking at https://t.co/cIItjp4Srw,
Thanks, @dan_jenkins, for English English, as in 🇬🇧. SVGcode (https://t.co/KkNtcT0e1q) keeps getting more international with each PR. Spanish 🇪🇸 & Italian 🇮🇹 would be great additions, too. @suzukik is working on Japanese 🇯🇵. RTL li
@dan_jenkins Oh, if you want to take `en-US.js` now and do an `en-GB.js` localization, I would definitely take it and merge it happily.
@dan_jenkins @kennethrohde Apart from clarity what kind of $language you get not really, no. It’s what I see other apps do, too, though. See, for example, @excalidraw, which clarifies the Portuguese you get is that spoken in Brazil (not Portugal). I know
@dan_jenkins @kennethrohde The long-term goal is to add true locale support like en-GB vs. en-US: “customise” vs. “customize” etc… For now, read it as English as written in the US.
Keep the momentum: @kennethrohde just added a Danish 🇩🇰 translation to SVGcode (https://t.co/KkNtcT0e1q). Tak skal du have! https://t.co/RyiaAlpcXY

@dannymoerkerke Nice work. Hosted here speech-paragraph.glitch.me for people to play with.
And thanks to @nhoizey, SVGcode is now also available in French! La voilà :svgco.deq!pic.twitter.com/ax133Yr64UU

@ricmac I read your article two times and their documentation three times but I still don’t get most of it and why this changes anything for the better. Is web3 simply really about using ugly subdomains? 🤔
@jensimmons That’s not the voices that I’m hearing, but of course our timelines and hashtags or search terms we follow are different. The voices I’m hearing on my timeline don’t want for Safari to go away (not at all!), they want for other browser

@stefanjudis My mnemonic: ice 🧊 is a noun, so when it’s about the advice it’s with a ‘c’, else when it’s a verb like to advise it’s with an ‘s’.
