@toddprouty The caveat here is that even if it worked Apple would still have to approve this to be released on their extension store. For now it’s a (successful) feasibility experiment.

@webkit To clarify, this works thanks to a special Safari build of the Link to Text Fragment extension (https://t.co/A1WGHGfady) that injects a Text Fragment URL polyfill. It was in the YouTube video description, but it’s easy to overlook.

@simevidas @jordaust @firefox It’s definitely a step in the right direction. Apple shouldn’t stop there, though, and vendors shouldn’t stop there either. Together we should demand real browser choice.
